Startup Scene Gets Festive with Christmas Giveaway

By Conor Rushby |

Christmas is all about giving, not receiving, according to popular wisdom. Now the startup community is getting into the festive spirit, albeit a little early, offering up products as presents in a Christmas raffle.

The work of Katharina Göbel, of digica solutions, the aim is for smaller startups who cannot afford extensive marketing campaigns to publicise their product by giving it away. On board are NeuroNation, Eversnackkomoot, palupasshake fit, Storytude, Photocircle and hörsport, and organisers are looking for more companies to team up with.

The give away is strictly for consumers, not B2B, while those involved are not allowed to donate products they offer for free anyway.

Products up for grabs so far include a voucher for digital personal fitness training, self-designed flip-flops, washable snack-bags, audio guides, protein shakes, brain training apps, tour guide apps for bike and for walking and photo prints.

To be in with a chance of getting some gifts, you can submit your email at any time from now to the Startup Christmas site. while the give away lasts from December 2 to 23.

If you fancy giving away some of your own startup goodies just email katharina at digica.re.
