By Conor Rushby |

Check out Silicon Allee’s weekly rundown of all the best events going on in our fair city: what’s happening, what’s coming up and what may be of interest whether you be investor, entrepreneur or hacker.

Tuesday

Hack and Tell‘s December event gives hackers the chance to show off their latest projects and get some feedback. Participants get five minutes to present their hacks in English, with the discussion being of a highly technical nature. From 6.30 pm at c-base Raumstation. Register now to make sure you get a place.

An informal gathering of freelancers and entrepreneurs is a chance to chat about your latest projects with like-minded tech souls. Tickets are €6 on the door, which includes two drinks and nibbles. The location is revealed upon signing up. From 7pm.

Up.front‘s monthly meetups are for all things front end development. This week’s discussion will focus on CSS testing and styleguide driven development. Glühwein and cookies will be on hand to sweeten proceedings. From 7:30pm at co.up.

Wednesday

Under the name of Echtzeit (realtime) Berlin, a select 200 guests will be gathering at a secret location to network. It’s at the invitation of Deutsche Startups, who are inviting the capital’s top founders, business angels, and investors to get to know each other better.

VentureVillage and Apex Communications are teaming up to put on a series of workshops in English to bring together various aspects of the startups trade, be it business development, marketing or the arts. The first class will focus on internationalizing business, and will feature talks by Many Ameri, co-founder of the Red Bull music academy, Sebastian Hennecke, vice president of Bread & Butter, and Pawel Chudzinski, managing director of Point Nine Capital. Tickets are €50, from 6.30pm at the Whisky Room, Michelberger Hotel.

 Thursday

Spätschicht, a festive drinks do for startup folk, is celebrating a great year for the German capital, with free drinks all night. You can get a ticket through one of the sponsors, including the likes of SponsorPay, Paymill, hub:raum, and etventure. Otherwise you can become a sponsor yourself to get tickets. At Ritter Butzke.

The newly-formed German Startup Foundation is putting on a breakfast with German MPs to discuss the tech scene, and to better inform policy-makers. Speaking will be Christian Vollmann, the business angel behind Dailymotion and eDarling, and Dr. Tom Cherry, co-Founder of Waymate. Sign up here. At BASE_camp from 7pm.

Saturday

OpenTechSchool are running a ‘meet-shop‘ – half meetup, half workshop – relating to maths and virtual design.  There will be talks on vectors, polar coordinates and linear transformation in 2D, plus an introduction to the screen as a cartesian plane (coordinate system) covering basic 2D maths for visual programming; beginners are welcome. All the spots are full, but there is a waiting list. At co.up from 2pm.

The Vamos and Friends Party, which sees Silicon Allee team up with KlashPloongeEyeEmScrappd and Tonka alongside main organisers Vamos, promises to be the hottest ticket in town.  Held at the awesome Kunztschule venue in Mitte, there will be plenty of surprises and freebies. The first 200 people before midnight will get in free by flashing the Vamos app at the door. Click here for free entry, from 10pm till 5am.
