Wednesday

Crossing the Chasm Berlin 2013 – the perfect opportunity to discover how to cross the chasm between early adopters and the majority of your users; the best way to put your startup on the path from early stage to high growth. You can hear from startups that have had some success in such progress, including SoundCloud, Orderbird, 6Wunderkinder and Paymill. At betahaus (Prinzessinnenstrasse 19), doors open at 6pm. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday

Gidsy has teamed up with betahaus for the second running of the Maker Weekend. It kicks off on Wednesday with a Gidsy meet up and then the weekend will see non-stop DIY workshops where participants can learn everything from 3D printing and furniture making to hacking and knitting. There will also be a huge party on Saturday night to celebrate the reopening of Open Design City. You can check out more details here or on the Facebook group.

Thursday

How did Berlin’s startup scene get where it is today? What are latest trends in startups? This meet up, hosted by Social Impact Lab, will have a brief presentation of some of Berlin’s startup milestones before opening up for the sharing of anecdotes and experiences of what’s going on. The event is aimed at both newcomers to the scene and more experienced members. At Erkelenzdamm 59-61 near Kottbusser Tor, in Seminarraum 2, from 7-9.30pm.

Friday

Friday at Six is back, with this month’s edition taking place at MakeaStartup. There will be an hour-long live TV talk show with eight tech interviews (including Philipp Hartmann from Rheingau Founders and Francesco Baschieri, CEO at Spreaker) and two early-stage startup pitches before the party kicks in later.
