Monday

Open Tech School is holding a Learner’s Meetup where people of all levels are welcome, especially beginners. It begins with a welcome and introduction, then a scheduled talk testing code by Benjamin Kampmann, and finally a mini barcamp to get help with anything.

Monday to Wednesday

One of the biggest conferences in Berlin, re:publica, takes place over three days. Speakers at the event – which is German-centric but also attracts plenty of international attendees – include Andreas Schleicher from the OECD, director and producer Graham Linehan (IT Crowd) and Cuban blogger Yoani Sanchez. The seventh running of the event has adopted the motto IN/SIDE/OUT. At Station Berlin.

Thusday to Saturday

Codemotion tech event is coming to Berlin for the first time and plans to engage developers and designers from all over the world in workshops, conferences, networking and a hackathon.  Speakers include PayPal’s Tim Messerschmidt, SoundCloud’s Tiffany Conroy, and BlackBerry’s Kamel Lajili. Tickets available here. Starts at 9am at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft.
