Aupeo!, the audio streaming startup based in Berlin, is launching the next generation of its mobile music app at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Tuesday. Improvements included in the new app are mainly focused on usability, such as a cleaner design and easer navigation functionality.
The free app, available on iOS and Android, also has highlighted album artwork with the “Love” and “Ban” buttons being featured more prominently. Mark Oelze, the product manager at Aupeo! responsible for the app, said: “We have further simplified the user interface, which brings out the elegance of the design even more. At the same time the use is more intuitive and is more inviting to interaction.”
Aupeo!, which was acquired by Panasonic last year, enables users to discover new music through access to more than 150 radio stations. Other features include Top Stations, Mood Radio and Featured Radio.
