Much time and effort has been expended over the past decade or more into making online meetings easier and more efficient. Now one Norwegian startup believes it has cracked it: appear.in can be integrated into a web browser (it currently works with Firefox, Chrome and Opera) and allows you to instantly have a meeting by just entering a URL – that's it. No software downloads, no logins, no setups. The latest challenger to take on Skype, appear.in was incubated with the help of Telenor, Norway's largest telco. Postify Q&A: Fitting Your Digital Images Into Everyday Life

Turning digital into real life can be a lucrative business, especially when it comes to pictures. Swedish startup Postify has created a desktop and mobile app which allows users to turn their digital images into physical photos and postcards in quicktime. So, for example, within 45 seconds of taking a photo during your Miami Beach vacation, that post card is in the mail – on its way to tease your friends and loved ones stuck in a grey and freezing Germany. Postify hasn't had trouble finding money, with a €155,000 angel round in 2012 followed up recently by an undisclosed new funding.
