Thanks to everyone who came to Sankt Oberholz this morning for Silicon Allee’s July meet up. There was a good crowd in as always, and plenty of new connections were made. More than 100 people showed up, including many who are new to the startup scene here in the German capital.
And one, who is looking for a place to found his own startup, came up with a great quote when revealing the attraction of the city: “It’s like Berlin is the light and I’m the fly!”
July’s edition certainly was a very international meet up, and it was illuminating talking to Australians, Americans, Italians and French people, and even a few Germans who have relocated to Berlin recently to be a part of everything that is happening in the tech world here.
As always, thank you to the team at Sankt Oberholz for putting up with the crowds. Watch out for details of our next meet up in August, when the weather will hopefully be a little better.
