Monday and Tuesday:

The International Media Convention is being held at the ICC alongside the IFA trade show. The event aims to showcase the future of the media, content and consumer electronics industries. There will be prominent international speakers taking part in keynotes, podium discussions and screenings covering the current issues involving media corporations and the Internet industry. All day at the ICC.

Tuesday:

The Silicon Allee September meet up takes place at Sankt Oberholz on Tuesday morning – no need to RSVP (although you can if you like), just rock up and we’ll see you there. From 9am.

Thursday:

CTI Invest and Rollfeld will host a Top 8 Swiss Web Startup Roundtable looking at how the famous Swiss quality transfers to startups. The event will look at the differences between Swiss and German startups, and how they can roll out across the German-speaking parts of Europe, collectively known as DACH. There will also be pitches form the aforementioned top eight Swiss web startups including a Q&A, as well as discussions with business developers ad VCs. 10am till 1pm at Soho House.

Friday:

The launch event for Paymill, which aims to be the fastest, simplest and most secure payment solution for online shops, takes place at betahaus in Kreuzberg. From 7pm.

Coming up:

The next Twittwoch will be the first ever in English, and will deal with the question: How social is reading and writing? It will take place at the Frannz Club on on September 26 and participants include Henrik Berggren of Readmill, Volker Oppmann of textunes and Michael Dreusicke of Paux. From 8pm.
