Monday to Wednesday

The four-day Droidcon conference kicks off on Monday. The convention is for the android community, spreading the latest developments on the platform and how businesses are increasingly utilising it. The event also provides an opportunity to talk about apps, problems, and solutions. Monday will have on open stage while Tuesday and Wednesday will be filled with talks and presentations from the likes of Facebook, Blackberry, Google and Mozilla. Tickets available here. Tuesday

The Silicon Allee meetup is back with the perfect opportunity to meet new people and network with the startup and tech community. Come down to Sankt Oberholz and grab a coffee. There is no need to RSVP. We’ll be downstairs from 9am.

B-mobile invites all the techies in town for Droidcon to a networking event with talks drinks and food. The event is sponsored by Madvertise and promises a range of speakers such as Apiomat’s Lutz Koch, Half Real Games’ Christian Paulus and Yandex’s Evgeny Ter-Avakyan. Register here. Wednesday

Hive Berlin are holding another meetup at the Open Knowledge Foundation. It begins with an introduction on Hive Berlin for newcomers, followed by lectures, a speed-dating round to get to know everybody and then finally the Hive Basar where everybody quickly presents their projects and discusses the problems and solutions. Thursday

The first TechBrunch of 2013, run by venture capital investment firm Target Partners, is taking place in Berlin. The theme of this event is ‘mobile’ and will include guests such as Target Partner’s Olaf Jacobi and Michael Münnix and Scoorloop‘s CEO Marc Gumpinger as guest speakers. It will begin with breakfast and networking before the pitches take place. Send an email to be one of the 30 participants of the mini-pitch. The location and further details will be released to participants prior to the event.

The Grand Startup Slam is a table tennis tournament for the startup community organised by Table of Visions, Silingo, VersionEye, poachee and Webavenue. With a passion for table tennis, partying and competition, there will be €1.50 beers, a DJ, and a prize for the winner. Reservations to partake in the tournament are full, but spectators reservations are still available here. From 6pm at Halle am Wasser co-working space on Invalidenstrasse 50/51.
