Want to know what’s going on in the world of tech events? The Big Berlin Breakdown, the city’s original and best curated events guide, will help you discover what’s happening, what’s coming up and what may be of interest be you investor, entrepreneur or hacker.

Tuesday

Following on from the Italians, this time it’s the turn of the Swiss to talk startups. CTI Invest and the Swiss embassy, which is acting as host, are giving a group of promising Swiss startups the chance to pitch to a selection of Berlin’s tech folk. Other join organisers include Earlybird and HTGF. We’ll be there as well – watch out for more info.

Berlin Startup Culture’s latest event is a fireside chat with the founders of Outfittery, Anna Alex and Julia Bösch, and Philipp Hartmann, co-founder of Rheingau Founders. The latter will be discussing what they are looking when it comes to choosing startups to support, so it’s an ideal opportunity for get the inside scoop. Friday

The Berlin Hardware Accelerator is holding the demo day for its first program at betahaus, with 11 startups all set to pitch to an audience of 150 people including a host of investors. It’s the perfect chance to meet up with the leaders of Europe’s growing hardware ecosystem. Tickets start at €19 + fee, buy them here. At Prinzessinenstrasse 19, from 3-7pm.

The third Pitch Marathon will take place at La Luz, and will involve pitching, networking, building potential investor relationships, securing investment and, perhaps, winning. The 26 participating startups will hope to follow in the footsteps of G1obals, 30K and lieferdeli, who were the winners last time around. The event will see four pitching sessions as well as a game designed to maximise interaction between the startups and investors, which include Microsoft Ventures, Westtech, HTGF, Holtzbrinck Ventures and more.
