A German tech blogger’s methods have irked Amen’s Felix Petersen so much that he has adviced the rest of the startup scene to avoid working with the writer in question.
In a recent blog post, Petersen praised the work done by much of the tech media, including Silicon Allee, but then spoke of his irritation at the “unprofessional negativity and “journalistic” methods of some others, particularly a guy called Joel Kaczmarek at Gründerszene who was willing to sacrifice good relations and journalistic standards for a cheap scoop.”
Kaczmarek reportedly threatened to publish screenshots of the Amen service before its launch at TechCrunch Disrupt in September despite an embargo on the story. In the blog post, Petersen says the attacks have continued since then: “Therefore I have to advise fellow entrepreneurs against working with this publication and with this individual.”
