Turn Your Idea Into Reality at CAMPKBX 2012

By David Knight |

Do you have a great idea that you think deserves to become reality, but just don’t want to give everything else up to see it happen? This event may well be just the thing for you…

CAMPKBX is focused on finding and realising the best ideas that have never gone beyond the “actually, we should…” stage because of a lack of time or expertise. It will take place at Palais in the Kulturbrauerei on March 30 and 31, and there is still time to enter.

The event is being organised by Friedrichshain-based marketing agency keksbox – and in previous years has brought things like Twittkickers (football on Twitter), Sammlr (a social network photo aggregator) and The Diary (a sexy and social iPad diary app) to fruition.

There will be workshops and a competition, with the keksbox team working with the winners to implement their idea. Bastian Koch from keksbox said: “The winner wins us! Why make your idea public? If you don’t, it will maybe never happen. But if you work together with some like-minded people, you can allow it to become reality.”

The competition will take the form of a casting show, with the finalists getting a coach to work with them on their ideas before a public vote chooses the winner.

You can sign up here, and the entry price includes some food and drink, the bar camp, the ideas competition and a special party with DJs to celebrate keksbox’s fifth birthday.
