Another Conference? You’re ‘Aving a Bubble Bath…

Europe’s startups are gearing up for the London Web Summit on Monday, with voting still open for the People’s Choice Award which will be presented at the conference.

The 150 companies from across the continent shortlisted for the prize include the usual German suspects: The likes of Amen, DeliveryHero, EyeEM, iversity, myTaxi, Readmill, SoundCloud, Wooga and 6Wunderkinder are all up for the gong.

But don’t let another round of startup back-patting put you off – the summit itself promises to be a cracking event.

Silicon Allee will be there at The Brewery in the City to bring you all the news, with more than 60 speakers already confirmed. They include Skype co-founder Niklas Zennström, Google CBO Nikesh Arora, Xing founder Lars Hinrichs, star investor Morten Lund, 4chan founder Chris Poole and Wall Street Journal tech editor Ben Rooney. From Berlin there will be our very own Edial Dekker, co-founder of Gidsy, and Fabian Siegel, CEO of DeliveryHero.

Let’s just hope we’re not all too conferenced out as we hit the high season!
