Keynotes and Competitions at CAMPKBX 2012

By Toni Ellis |

Berlin is set for another busy weekend, with CAMPKBX kicking off tonight at Palais in the Kulturbrauerei. The event is focused on finding and realising the best ideas that have never gone beyond the “actually, we should…” stage, due to lack of time or expertise.

Those lucky enough to snag a ticket (which have now sold out) will be treated to a talk tonight from the founder of Mobile Monday and the Founders Institute Christopher Räthke discussing his current project Battle of the Startup Bands.

Stephan Wolpers, founder of Twittwoch, Entrepreneurs Club and Startup Camp Berlin, will take to the stage for a keynote speech titled ‘Just do it! How crazy ideas to make our lives better’ at the closing party on Saturday.

The event will also feature workshops, idea pitches and a competition, with finalists receiving a coach to work with them on their ideas before a public vote chooses the winner. There will also be endless networking opportunities throughout the weekend, and of course participants won’t go hungry as drinks and food will be provided.

The fifth birthday of event organisers and Friedrichshain-based marketing agency keksbox also coincides with this weekends event, so to finish up CAMPKBX this year, prepare to party with special DJs hitting the decks.
