Fundraising can be one of the most difficult and frustrating tasks faced by entrepreneurs. But once you’ve been there and bought the t-shirt, the whole process becomes that much easier to understand. And with so many early-stage startups in Berlin it’s no surprise that General Assembly has put together the Assembled Capital event.
The intimate one-day conference on February 15 will include talks, panels and personal conversations about fundraising strategies featuring experienced Berlin entrepreneurs as well as top European VCs who will share their tales of successful – and not so successful – attempts at securing financing.
There will also be discussions on best practices, common misconceptions, evolving trends and other information which could come in handy when you walk through the door of that VC’s office. Tickets are limited to ensure small group conversations with the experts.
Speakers will include Andre Eggert of Lacore, Ciaran O’Leary of Earlybird, Felix Peterson of Amen, Robert Bonanzinga of Balderton Capital, Schuyler Deerman of Mope and Gil Dibner of Index Ventures.
The event takes place at the GA’s Berlin base at betahaus in Kreuzberg. Earlybird tickets cost €150 and are available till Monday morning.
