Feedback Platform Reputami Joins hub:raum Incubator

Online feedback platform Reputami has become the fourth member of the hub:raum incubator. Founded in Cologne, Reputami helps local businesses to evaluate customer feedback and respond to it in the best way. It does this through monitoring and compiling customer opinions and providing recommendations on how to improve an online reputation.

The team joins Blinkist, SalonMeister and Stylemarks in the betahaus-based program, which is being run by Deutsche Telekom as part of its outreach to the startup world.

Reputami, which was founded in May 2012 by Ali Saffari and Oliver Twardowski, also makes it easier for businesses to manage social media, location-based SEO and influencer marketing. In a joint statement, the founders said together: “We want to redefine how businesses deal with their customers in the age of social media and location-based services, in addition to improving the service quality of local enterprises.”

Peter Borchers, the head of hub:raum, said Reputami’s approach very compelling: “Especially today, where opinions and criticism tend to be expressed in social networks and forums, it is very important for local businesses to know what customers are thinking and how to react to their comments. This results in more customer satisfaction and more revenue. We are therefore very proud to welcome Reputami as another promising startup to our incubator.”

Following its first accelerator program, hub:raum is now focusing on its incubator which was launched last year aimed at startups in the telecommunications services, Internet services and digital media spaces. Members gain access to a pool of experts, the extensive DT network, office space and seed financing of up to €300,000.

There is still time to sign up for Hack DT, an awesome hackathon being organised by Deutsche Telekom, Evernote and Silicon Allee from April 5-7. The winning team will even get the chance to travel to San Francisco in September to present their hack at the Evernote conference.
