Digital Ad Platform plista Acquired By GroupM

Plista, a Berlin-based platform providing targeted digital advertising solutions, has been acquired by GroupM, a leading global media investment management operation. Founded in 2008 and currently boasting 100 employees, plista is active in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and can count blue chip companies such as Volkswagen, Sony and Coke amongst its clients.

Rudiger Wanck, GroupM’s global digital COO and digital officer EMEA, said: “Plista is a pioneer when it comes to innovative solutions for targeted digital advertising … It is our ambition to develop plista from a multi-market operation into a global player.”

According to plista, thousands of premium websites use its recommendation and advertising technology delivering billions of ads each month, making it the leading recommendation and advertising platform in the German-speaking world.
